Vol. 560 No. 3

Written Answers. - Proposed Legislation.

Enda Kenny

Question:

293 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism his legislative priorities for the remainder of the current Dáil; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2422/03]

My current legislative priorities for the remainder of the current Dáil are: the National Tourism Development Authority Bill; the Arts Bill; and the Abbotstown Sports Centre Authority Bill. The Second Stage debate on the National Tourism Development Authority Bill is scheduled for 11 to 13 February. The Arts Bill passed Committee stage in December 2002 and Report Stage will be taken as soon as possible with a view to having it enacted without delay.

The Abbotstown Sports Centre Authority Bill is on the Government's legislative priority list. The Bill will provide for the establishment of the authority and define its functions.
