138 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has approved the tender, submitted by Kerry County Council, for the provision of a branch library in Castleisland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2301/03]

No proposed tenders have been received from Kerry County Council in relation to this project. It is understood that the local authority is currently preparing contract documents and expects to be in a position to go to tender in April.
