Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Upton – that the Minister for Education and Science give priority to the long-promised primary school for Cherry Orchard; (2) Deputy Rabbitte – the need for urgent sanction for remedial work at St. Killian's junior and senior schools, Castleview, Kingswood, Dublin 24; (3) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need to respond urgently to recent serious job losses in County Monaghan, including Lissadell Towels and CPV Limited; (4) Deputy Deenihan – the urgent need to provide a new school at Castlegregory, County Kerry, to replace Meán Scoil An Leith-Triúigh, Cloghane; (5) Deputy Stanton – the action being taken as a result of the closure of the Technicolor Plant in Youghal.

The matters raised by the following Deputies have been selected for discussion: Deputies Ó Caoláin, Stanton, Rabbitte and Deenihan.
