305 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans his Department has in regard to free medical care for third level students; if his Department has had consultations with the Department for Health and Children in regard to such a matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey):

The provision of free medical care for third level students is an issue which is appropriate to my colleague, the Minister for Health and Children, Deputy Martin. My Department has not consulted with the Minister for Health and Children or his officials on the matter.
