316 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children the way in which he proposes to meet the needs of a person (details supplied) in County Dublin in September 2003 who is currently attending St. Paul's Special School, Beaumont, and is part residential in St. Paul's Hostel in Santry, Dublin. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability and those with autism in the Dublin region rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
