Question:264 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance the numbers, location and former use of disused Office of Public Works buildings in the Infirmary Road area of Dublin 7; and the plans for their renewal. [5183/03]

The site in question is presumed to be on the east side of Infirmary Road. The site is approximately 2.75 acres and is bounded by Montpelier Gardens to the north, Montpelier Hill to the south and Infirmary Road on the west. Part of this site is still being used by the Department of Defence.
The Commissioners of Public Works have initiated a comprehensive review of the State property portfolio and this site will form part of that review. Until the evaluation process is completed no decisions will be made on specific properties or sites.
