355 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if he will report on the progress of the public consultation on the broadcast ban of religious advertising announced just before Christmas 2002. [5586/03]
I will shortly initiate a public consultation process, by placing advertisements in national media, inviting submissions from interested parties in relation to the review I am conducting of the legislative provisions that impose a ban on religious advertising on Irish radio and television services. To facilitate debate in the matter I will establish an on-line forum on my Department's website.
