Question:187 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism when he envisages the application calls will begin for the sports lottery grant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5863/03]
Written Answers - Sports Capital Programme.
I intend to invite applications for funding under the national lottery-funded sports capital programme 2003 in March of this year. At that time the programme will be advertised publicly and the application forms and the guidelines, terms and conditions of the programme will be available.
The applications will be assessed in my Department in accordance with the guidelines, terms and conditions of the programme, which will be issued to prospective applicants along with their application forms. It would not be possible to say how long the assessment might take until my Department has received all applications.
