141 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the total sums allocated to the Western Health Board in 2001, 2002 and to date in 2003 for housing repairs for the elderly; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6853/03]

The Western Health Board was allocated €2,095,068 and €2,301,910 for the operation of the special housing aid for the elderly scheme in 2001 and 2002, respectively. An initial allocation of €2,530,000 for 2003 has been notified to the board.
