Adjournment Debate Matters.

The following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 were received by the Ceann Comhairle, and the following is a list of the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Rabbitte – the need to speed up the approval of projects and the drawing down of funds under the Rapid Programme; (2) Deputy Seán Ryan – the difficulty in operating Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000 in respect of local authority loans; (3) Deputy Crawford – the withdrawal of the 45 million subsidy towards the disposal of meat and bone meal before alternative structures were put in place; (4) Deputy O'Dowd – to ask the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to discuss the decision of An Bord Pleanála to ignore the advise of its own inspector and to grant by a 7-2 majority permission for an incinerator at Carronstown just outside the town of Drogheda; and (5) Deputy Ó Snodaigh – the delay in funding the local plans in the RAPID and Local Drug Task Force areas on the communities of Ballyfermot, Kimmage, Crumlin, Walkinstown, Drimnagh and South-West inner city areas.

The matters raised by the following Deputies have been selected for discussion: Deputies Crawford, Sean Ryan, Rabbitte and Ó Snodaigh.
