44 Mr. Murphy asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will provide ongoing funding for the programme on helping patients with alcohol problems when the three year grant from a company (details supplied) is exhausted. [6688/03]

I assume the Deputy is referring to the Irish College of General Practitioner's alcohol aware practice project. I have met officials from the ICGP to discuss this issue. Officials from my Department are examining its submission.
