Question:252 Mr. McEllistrim asked the Minister for Finance when a site will be obtained by the Office of Public Works to build a proper Garda station in Castleisland, County Kerry. [7189/03]

The Commissioners of Public Works are assessing a specific site in Castleisland for a new Garda station. Acquisition of the site will depend, inter alia, on an acceptable price being agreed and sufficient funding being available to meet the cost of the site.
