557 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the amount of money available to County Cork under the CLÁR programme; the respective roles of the local authority and Leader in the allocation of these funds; and the purposes for which they can be used. [7246/03]

The expenditure in County Cork in 2002 under the CLÁR programme was €1,230,439. The details are shown in the following table:
