217 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called to see an ear, nose and throat specialist in Castlebar. [8662/03]

The provision of medical services in this case is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.

218 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if a consultation will be arranged for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in University Hospital, Galway. [8670/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in County Sligo rests with the North-Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
