Vol. 564 No. 1

Written Answers - Departmental Staff.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

127 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the concerns expressed by IMPACT, the trade union representing professional staff at Dúchas, at proposals to break up the heritage service; his views on the concerns raised; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8736/03]

More than 20 submissions, including a submission from IMPACT, have been received on the draft report on the review of heritage organisational arrangements which was circulated to certain interested parties in January 2003. I am now completing my consideration of the issues raised in the report, together with the comments made in the submissions received, with a view to submitting final proposals to Government. In that context, I will give full consideration to all of the issues involved, including those identified in the submission from IMPACT.

Question No. 128 answered with Question No. 121.
