Question:

240 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the advice or assistance which he or his Department can give to a company (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter in view of the fact that its figures show a remarkable interest in such activities here. [9711/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 237 to 240, inclusive, together.

My Department understands that there was a useful meeting between the company's chief executive and an official from the South East Regional Tourism Authority on 7 April. During the meeting the chief executive outlined his concerns and received advice on his existing business model and its possible future development. Bord Fáilte has indicated that if the company considers it useful it will convene a further meeting with it. As my Department does not provide grant aid or support to individual enterprises, I do not consider that a separate meeting with the company would serve any useful purpose.
