Vol. 564 No. 5

Written Answers - Local Authority Housing.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

415 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he has received an application for the renewal of Ballylynch housing estate Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary; if he will consider this proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9547/03]

Recently my Department received proposals from Carrick-on-Suir Town Council for the redevelopment of the Ballylynch housing estate. The proposals will be examined to assess their suitability and to establish if they are eligible in principle for funding under the remedial works scheme. A response will issue to the council when this examination has been completed.
