83 Ms B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Finance the current percentage of persons with disabilities employed in his Department; when it is expected that the target of 3% set in 1997 will be reached; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9729/03]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the current percentage of persons with a disability employed in my Department is 3% and that my Department has met or indeed exceeded the 3% target in each year since 1997.
