208 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will support schools struggling to minimise waste creation and the cost of bin collections by notifying schools of where they can recycle materials such as post consumer paper and other recyclable materials as close as possible to each school. The management of waste is a matter for each individual school. In relation to local recycling facilities, schools could contact their local authority environmental awareness officer who may be able to advise them on waste minimisation and recycling.
