Question:28 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the up to date position regarding the progress of the public private partnership for the Abbey Theatre; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11043/03]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 17 and 28 together.
The Government has agreed that expressions of interest be invited from potential private sector partners for the development of the national theatre. I understand that the Office of Public Works is preparing to commission a group of experts to advise on the detail of this invitation, which will be issued as soon as possible.
