Increasing workloads in the relevant division of my Department has resulted in a slowing down in finalising a small number of appeal type compensation cases such as this. However, a decision on the appeal lodged by the person concerned to the earlier decision taken by the district veterinary office will be finalised this week. A letter will then issue to the person concerned outlining the position.
