283 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science his views on the request from the residents of Parkvale Estate, Sandyford Road, Dublin 16 for an alternative access to a school (details supplied) from the Sandyford Road other than that through the Parkvale Estate; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of an alternative or additional entrance to the school in question is being considered by my Department in the context of alleviating any additional traffic which may be generated by the provision of new sports facilities at the school in question. A decision on this issue will, however, rest ultimately with the planning authorities.
