Jack Wall

Question:

404 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will have a hip replacement operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11353/03]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.

Question:

405 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if the health board will find a more suitable nearer location for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12. [11354/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services in the Dublin region lies with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.

406 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine the contents of a letter sent to him by a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8; and if the issues raised therein will be independently inquired into. [11355/03]

The correspondence referred to by the Deputy has been received by me and has been forwarded by my Department to the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, which has responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow, for investigation and direct reply to the individual concerned.
