Written Answers. - Crime Levels.

John Gormley

Question:

672 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to the fact that there are problems regarding drug abuse around the Sailors Monument in City Quay, Dublin, leading to acts of vandalism and theft; if he will ensure that the Garda Síochána do all in its power to deal with this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12192/03]

I regret that it has not been possible in the time available to obtain a report from the Garda authorities on the subject of the Deputy's question. However, I shall contact the Deputy as soon as possible.
