Written Answers. - Land Reclamation.

Seán Haughey

Question:

288 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if his Department has met with the Dublin Port Company to discuss matters relevant to the company's application for approval for reclamation of foreshore; the outcome of these discussions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12941/03]

A meeting with Dublin Port Company is likely to take place within the next two to three weeks to discuss various issues relating to the company's application to reclaim 21 hectares of foreshore in Dublin Bay. Decisions on the further action to be taken in respect of the application will be made in light of those discussions.
