Question:218 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works will clean a section of the river at Mucklagh, Kilmeena, Westport, County Mayo. [12833/03]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
The Commissioners of Public Works are not in a position to undertake the work requested as the stretch of river in question does not form part of any drainage scheme for which they have maintenance responsibility under the Arterial Drainage Act 1945.
