54 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Defence the number of Irish military personnel currently serving overseas; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13315/03]

The total number of Defence Forces personnel currently serving overseas is 462. Full details are as listed in the tabular statement which is circulated with the Official Report.
