Vol. 566 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John McGuinness

Question:

113 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reasons for the delay in admitting a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to Crumlin Hospital; if the consultants will be contacted to make a bed available without further delay; and the action being taken to resolve the matter. [13321/03]

The provision of hospital services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position and to reply directly to the Deputy.
