Question:

92 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of countries to which poultry and poultry products are exported; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14173/03]

According to the most recently available statistics received from the Central Statistics Office, CSO, for 2002, Ireland exports poultry and poultry products to some 37 countries. The more significant destinations in terms of volume and value of this trade are the UK, including Northern Ireland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Congo and Benin.
