The restaurant in Agriculture House is run as a dining club. The canteens in the Departments regional offices in Wexford, Portlaoise and Castlebar are the subject of franchise agreements. The catering franchises were awarded following competitive procedures. I understand that the bulk of the food used by the franchise holders is of Irish origin.
