178 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science the assistance he can give to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in regard to teaching qualifications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14901/03]

My Department is in receipt of correspondence from the person in question regarding the recognition of his qualifications for teaching purposes. We will revert to the Deputy as soon as a decision has been made on this matter.
