An official from my Department has been in contact with the boy's parents and an educational needs questionnaire, ENQ, has issued to them. The ENQ, when returned, will help to identify the boy's educational needs and provide my Department with the written permission of the parents to contact schools and the National Educational Psychological Service, NEPS, on behalf of this child. The Education Welfare Board has also been notified.
