587 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children the situation with regard to orthodontic treatment for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and the reason for the failure of the Mid-Western Health Board to carry out the promised necessary procedures. [15873/03]

Responsibility for the provision of orthodontic treatment to eligible persons in County Limerick rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
