Higgins asked the Minister for Health and Children his views on whether the current state of hospital services is adequate in view of the fact that a person (details supplied) in County Galway was left waiting on a trolley for more than 24 hours in University College Hospital, Galway, while awaiting urgent attention; and if he proposes further investment into the service in order to avoid such appalling and exhausting waits for patients.
