660 Mr. Coveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the statistics in relation to age profile and marital status of the successful applicants for funding to complete BCL degrees as members of the gardaí over the past three academic years. [15363/03]

I have been informed by the Garda authorities that the age profile of each of the successful candidates for funding to complete BCL degrees for the years 2000-01 to 2002-03, inclusive, is as set out hereunder. Marital status was not an issue considered by Garda management.
