Question:

356 Mr. Boyle asked the Minister for Health and Children the arrangements which have been put in place for school children who have been referred to community public health doctors since 14 April 2003 to ensure that such children receive early medical intervention. [16651/03]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 355 and 356 together.

The provision of school medical services, as an integral component of child health services, is the statutory responsibility of the health boards. The information requested by the Deputy has not been provided in full by the health boards and the Eastern Regional Health Authority in the time available. This information will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as it is received.
