Vol. 568 No. 5

Written Answers. - Visa Applications.

Pat Carey

Question:

397 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will examine the case of a person (details supplied) whose group contains a Romanian national who has not been able to get an entry visa to Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16540/03]

My Department has no records of a visa application in respect of the person concerned. It is, of course, open to the person to apply for a visa. In this regard, visa applications must normally be made through the Irish Embassy or Consulate in the applicant's country of permanent residence, or direct by post to the Visa Office, Department of Foreign Affairs, 13-14 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2.
