307 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government the best contact sources for seeking information on the availability and supply of electronic voting tables; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16998/03]
My Department is currently drawing up, in consultation with the Office of Public Works and European returning officers, an appropriate specification for customised tables for the electronic voting machine. It is anticipated an advertisement will shortly be placed in the Official Journal of the European Communities and on the Government's e-tender website inviting tenders for such tables which meet the appropriate criteria.
