317 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the situation regarding a Gaeltacht house grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; when it will be dealt with; and if funding will be approved for these works. [17086/03]

There is no record in my Department of an application for assistance under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts from the person named. An application form has now been issued to that person and on receipt of the completed application; the case will be examined as quickly as possible.
