Vol. 569 No. 1

Written Answers. - Pension Provisions.

Jack Wall

Question:

111 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will receive a pension from his Department in view of the fact that they have received no award since retiring on 30 April 2003. [17273/03]

Responsibility for calculation of occupational pension benefits under the local government superannuation scheme rests in this case with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
