Vol. 569 No. 3

Written Answers. - Psychological Service.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

321 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the withdrawal of psychiatric and social work services to the children of St. Ita's and St. Joseph's school, Balloonagh, Tralee, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15513/03]

Responsibility for the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability or autism in County Kerry lies with the Southern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
