Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Finian McGrath – the serious staffing situation in Belgrove boys' senior school, Clontarf, Dublin 3; (2) Deputy Deenihan – the reduction in services by Partnership Tralee and the resulting hardship for many deserving individuals and communities; (3) Deputy Ferris – the urgent need to discuss the €100,000 cut in funding for Partnership Tralee and the implications this will have for the support of various local initiatives; (4) Deputy Quinn – the case of a person (details supplied) with brain damage, awaiting sentence, who has been recommended by the court to receive special treatment of the type available at St. Doolagh's Centre, Dublin; (5) Deputy Upton – the long delay faced by young adults with autism (details supplied) in obtaining assistance through their area health board; (6) Deputy Allen – the loss of more than 100 jobs at the Flextronic plant, Dublin Hill, Cork; (7) Deputy Callanan – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to sanction the extra classrooms for St. Cuan's college, Castleblakeney, County Galway; and (8) Deputy Burton – the need for additional classrooms and a PE hall at Castleknock community college as promised since 1998.

The matters raised by Deputies Callanan, Quinn, Deenihan and Ferris have been selected for discussion.
