Vol. 569 No. 5

Written Answers. - Health Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

93 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason subvention payments in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny have not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if the South-Eastern Health Board will state clearly the reasons for the delay; if there is outstanding documentation which the family should provide to complete the claim; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18156/03]

As the Deputy may be aware, responsibility for the administration of health services in County Kilkenny rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply direct to him as a matter of urgency.
