360 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism the number of freedom of information requests received by his Department during each month from January 2002 to June 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18621/03]

Since the establishment of my Department on 18 June 2002, the number of requests received under the Freedom of Information Acts 1997 and 2003 each month was as follows:

My Department has systems in place to monitor all requests under the Freedom of Information Acts to ensure that responses are dealt with in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
