Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Work Permits.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

259 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment when a work permit will issue to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 18; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [20387/03]

An application in this case was received on 8 September 2003. It is the policy to process work permit applications in the order in which they are received. Assuming that the application is otherwise in order it will take approximately six to eight weeks to process.
