820 Mr. Cregan asked the Minister for Health and Children his views on the withdrawal of the ?75,000 annual dinner grant to Enable Ireland, Sandymount; the reason it was decided to withdraw the grant; if the decision can be reconsidered; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19826/03]
As I am sure the Deputy is aware, the provision of funding for school meals does not fall under the remit of my Department.
However, if the Deputy requires further information in this regard, I suggest he contact the Department of Social and Family Affairs which provided funding in the region of €10,500 to Enable Ireland, in May of this year, under the school meals scheme.
