928 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a hip operation will be expedited for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny at Cappagh Hospital; and the reason for the delay to date in dealing with the matter. [20429/03]

The provision of services for people living in County Kilkenny is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to look into this matter and to reply directly to the Deputy.
