Vol. 571 No. 1

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

1237 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when residency status will be finalised in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who is married to an Irish citizen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21291/03]

The person in question made an application on 4 September 2002 for permission to remain in the State based on marriage to an Irish national. Consideration is currently being given to the issuance of permission in this case, having regard to all of the relevant circumstances.
