227 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of freedom of information requests received by his Department during each week from January 2003 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21664/03]
The statistics requested by the Deputy are set out in the table. There has been a reduction in the number of non-personal FOI requests to the Department this year. However, it should be noted that the rate of receipt of FOI requests tends to show unpredictable peaks and troughs, so it is not be possible to draw any firm conclusions about this trend at this time.
