487 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the further information submitted by persons (details supplied) in County Carlow will enable his Department to expedite both applications; and if the applications will be granted in view of the facts and circumstances of each case. The persons concerned have recently submitted a number of documents in respect of their applications for permission to remain in the State. Each application will be carefully considered on its own merits and I expect that a decision on each case will be reached shortly.
